Luxembourg continues to position itself as a multicultural and multilingual country, strongly shaped by the presence of foreign communities, including the Portuguese-speaking community.
According to the official portal of the Luxembourg Government, the country is characterised by the daily use of several languages — Luxembourgish, French, German, Portuguese, English and Italian — reflecting the different communities that live and work in the Grand Duchy.
This reality confirms an important message: integration is not only about arriving in a country. Integration means understanding the local culture, organising documents, knowing the rules, adapting communication, building trust and actively participating in social and economic life.
For migrant entrepreneurs and members of the Portuguese-speaking diaspora, this preparation is even more important. The Luxembourgish market offers opportunities, but it also requires professionalism, clarity, responsibility and adaptability.
This is the context in which QDELUX Association is developing Start & Integrate, a programme created to support migrant entrepreneurs with useful information, practical guidance and capacity-building for a more conscious and structured integration.
We believe integration starts with knowledge — and grows through participation, organisation and the creation of strong professional relationships.
