The first launch gathering of Nexo Mulher took place with an intimate and strategic format, bringing together women entrepreneurs in an environment of exchange, listening and professional bridge-building. The initiative marked the official beginning of a project designed to respond to gaps identified in Luxembourg with regard to the strengthening and optimisation of female entrepreneurship.
More than a one-off event, Nexo Mulher presents itself as a platform focused on qualified connection, cooperation and collective growth among women with experience, vision and influence across different sectors. That purpose became evident from this very first gathering, which met participants’ expectations and delivered exactly what many of them were seeking: new professional bridges, strategic partnerships and qualified networking.
With a more reserved format, the gathering encouraged deeper conversations and allowed participants to share not only their projects, but also their professional journeys, challenges and growth perspectives. Throughout the session, a shared willingness became clear: to build relationships that are more useful, more consistent and more clearly directed towards real progress, within an ecosystem that still faces weaknesses in terms of coordination, visibility and the recognition of female entrepreneurship.
One of the most significant aspects of this first moment was precisely the project’s ability to generate practical reflection. Through the exchanges between participants, several areas for improvement were identified, along with important insights for the future of Nexo Mulher. These contributions are expected to strengthen the structure of the project and raise the standard of future editions, consolidating its value within the Lusophone business and institutional landscape in Luxembourg and across the Benelux region.
During the gathering, a clear commitment to grow together was also expressed among the women present — a sign that Nexo Mulher is beginning to establish itself not as a simple series of meetings, but as a proposal rooted in continuity, connection and strategic construction.
Another highlight of the event was the public recognition of Dr. Ana Figueiredo, dentist and entrepreneur, for the support she has given the project since its embryonic phase. According to the organisation, she played an important role in helping bring this initiative to life, not only through her competence and professionalism, but also through the dedication with which she contributed to its development. As a sign of that recognition, she was appointed by president Etelvina as Project Advisor.
The organisation also expressed its gratitude to the participants who trusted this first edition and chose to be part of the launch of Nexo Mulher. The level of engagement and the quality of participation were seen as positive indicators for the future of the initiative.
